Quick-setting lime

Quick-setting lime grades 1 and 2
A powdery or lumpy material formed by burning limestone. It reacts rapidly with water to form hydrated lime (Ca(OH)2),which hardens rapidly when exposed to carbon dioxide in the air.
Characteristics:

| Properties | Raises soil pH, supplies calcium, and quickly neutralizes acidity. Provides improvement of soil structure, has high reactivity compared to slaked lime |
| Application | Introduction to soil for rapid increase of alkalinity, in construction for creation of building mortars and as raw material for production of hydrated lime. In animal husbandry it is used as additive to feed (mainly grade 1) |
